Wordpress upgrade
I just upgraded Wordpress to the newest version 2.2 and something in my theme is broken and I have to fix it so for the time being you will have to see the default theme.
I just found a fix and applied it. If you have problems with the latest WP and the K2 plugin I found a handy link here.
Compiz R300 vs FGLRX
A few days a go I decided to give another chance to the R300 open source driver for my Mobility Radeon 9600, which BTW runs Vista beautifully.
First I removed the fglrx packages using pacman and then I followed Arch’s wiki to install the open source driver which was pretty straightforward.

Urxvt transparency
Yesterday I was trying this terminal and I couldn’t find a way to make it transparent while using Compiz, well actually I found a way but I had to pass some arguments to urxvt command which was not the best solution.
After some time playing with my .Xdefaults file I found how to do it so here it is my file, hope it helps somebody.

Dark Eternal Blue
Finally I think that the theme is good enough for a release and to start the bug fixing madness.
I spent a lot of time in this theme, really a lot because it is hard to make a decent dark GTK theme. I did the best I could and at least most of the applications I use work as I want.
[WIP]Dark Eternal Blue Theme
I am working in a new GTK theme and it is mainly a modification of my Eternal Blue Theme but with a dark background.
It is still a WIP because there a few apps that still use white text over white background but I’m trying to fix it. I know I could use a gray background but I don’t like it. The worst issue, in the apps I use, is evolution because it is using a gray background and white text for some views but I still haven’t found a way to fix this.
I will post a preview in some minutes.

My first python script
This is my first python script or at least the first one I release and it was made as a request on Neowin forums to join two images without GIMP.
The script takes two images of the same size and “paste” the second one on the right side of the first one. The only dependency is PIL but you should be able to get a package for your distro and also should work in Windows if you have PIL installed.

I just finished updating some pages and I added one for the themes I did/ported for the NowPlaying Screenlet.

Updates again
I’m updating this site again. I will be doing some changes on the CSS, adding some images, changing others and I’m also going to update the blog section because I have released a few things but I didn’t write a post about it.
